BBC One’s new landmark nature series Wild Isles will feature Killarney National Park which is set within the Kerry UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Legendary broadcaster Sir David Attenborough begins the series with an episode aptly titled ‘Our Precious Isles’, explaining why our small and uniquely positioned set of isles are so critical for the survival of species from right across the globe.

Wild Isles is co-produced by The Open University and will premiere on BBC One on Sunday 12 March, 7.00 – 8.00pm. View the trailer here.
