Sharing the Tradition: Irish Munnix Dance Workshops, Siamsa Tíre, Tralee

Join traditional Irish Dance Master Jonathan Kelliher to learn the very unique and beautiful North Kerry “Munnix” style traditional Irish dance. This style dates to the early 1700s and was handed down through the generations by traditional dance masters. This new series of dance classes is presented by Siamsa Tíre, the National Folk Theatre of Ireland Training Academy and is part of a new online class initiative for dancers and musicians all over the world, to work with experienced traditional tutors who will share their insights and background to step dances and tunes, as well as take the time to teach and perform them.
